Court Orders C.B. Ratnayake to Pay Rs. 250 Million for Defaming Sujeewa Senasinghe

The Mount Lavinia District Court has ordered former MP C.B. Ratnayake to pay Rs. 250 million in compensation for defaming Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Sujeewa Senasinghe during a televised talk show discussing the Central Bank bond scam.

Senasinghe filed the case in August 2017.
