Indictments Filed Before Colombo HC Against Namal Rajapaksa Over ‘Krrish’ Case

The Attorney General today filed indictments before the Colombo High Court against Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Namal Rajapaksa.

The charges, presented before Colombo High Court Judge Manjula Thilakaratne this morning (18 February), relate to the alleged criminal misappropriation of Rs. 70 million linked to the controversial ‘Krrish’ project.

Following the submission, the High Court Judge ordered Rajapaksa to be released on bail.
