More than 30 people have died in a bus crash on a mountain road in Bolivia, police say.
The vehicle overturned into a ravine about 800 meters (2,625 feet) above sea level in the southwestern district of Yocalla, an official said.
Fourteen people, including four children, were also injured, a local hospital official said in a video.
Bolivia has notoriously dangerous roads, especially in mountainous areas.
Police said the crash happened between the cities of Potosi and Oruro.
Police Colonel Victor Benavides told AFP news agency that officials believe the accident was caused by speeding, as the driver was “unable to control” the bus.
It is believed to be the worst road accident in the South American country this year.
Many of the injured are in critical condition, local news agency Unitel reported.
Deadly road accidents are common in Bolivia.
Another bus veered off the road near Potosi last month, killing 19 people.
According to government data, an average of 1,400 people die in road accidents each year in the country of about 12 million people.
