FitzAir, Sri Lanka’s first privately owned international airline, is expanding its regional connectivity with the introduction of direct flights to Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia, further strengthening its position as the country’s leading low-cost carrier.

Flights to Kuala Lumpur will commence on 4 April 2025, with four (04) weekly operations. This expansion reflects the airline’s continued efforts to meet the growing demand for cost-effective, reliable flights and strengthens its position as a major player in the region’s aviation sector.

The launch of flights to Kuala Lumpur marks an important milestone for FitzAir as it continues to expand its network and enhance regional connectivity. This new route will create more opportunities for trade, tourism and travel and reinforces the airline’s commitment to making air travel more accessible and affordable.

To mark the launch, FitzAir is offering a special introductory fare of Rs. 65,300 for a return ticket to Kuala Lumpur. This all-inclusive fare includes a 20kg checked baggage allowance and a 7kg hand baggage allowance, ensuring a hassle-free travel experience.

With this new service, FitzAir continues to expand its network and offer its passengers more affordable, hassle-free travel options. The airline’s growing network includes destinations such as Male, Dubai, Dhaka and Chennai, with seamless connections via its main hub in Colombo. FitzAir is committed to providing reliable, on-time services with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
