Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda, who made a cameo appearance in the film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, has left for Sri Lanka to shoot for his new film ‘Rajadhaniya’.
On Sunday, the actor took to his Instagram and shared a series of pictures of himself waiting for his flight at the airport lounge. The actor shared that he is shooting for a song sequence in Sri Lanka.
He wrote in the caption, “Back to the kingdom of #Lanka to shoot for love songs. Crazy cool #RWDY summer flannels 🙂 Available for shopping soon for you all”.
Earlier in January, Vijay gave a warm welcome to British rock band Coldplay. The actor had earlier taken to his Instagram Stories section and shared a video. The text of the video read, “Chris Martin says he is from Telangana.” The actor wrote in the video, “Welcome Chris Martin. Someone needs to make a Podisthunna Poddumida X Coldplay mashup.”
Earlier, the actor gave netizens a field day with the release of the poster of actress Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming Telugu film ‘The Girlfriend’.
The poster read, “Vijay Deverakonda will introduce ‘The Girlfriend’.” There have been rumours that two of India’s leading stars, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, are dating, and netizens have raised the issue in the comments.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor will soon be seen in his upcoming film ‘Kingdom’. The film has been tentatively titled ‘VD 12’. Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor wrapped up the shooting of the film last month.
The anticipation for the film is sky-high and fans are eagerly waiting to see Vijay in this powerful avatar once again. An industry source has revealed that Ranbir has provided voiceover work for the trailer of ‘Kingdom’.
