Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Chamara Sampath Dasanayake has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) over three corruption-related charges.
According to CIABOC officials, Dasanayake was taken into custody following an investigation into alleged misconduct during his tenure in public office. He is expected to be produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.
