Police have arrested 27 individuals, including members of the Inter-University Students’ Federation (IUSF), for holding a Sathyagraha march in violation of a court order.

The protest took place in front of the Ministry of Health, despite a court order prohibiting demonstrations that could disrupt public movement.

The Allied Health Sciences Students’ Union had launched the sathyagraha yesterday (27), with the participation of IUSF convener and other activists. During the demonstration, eight representatives engaged in discussions with the Health Ministry Secretary. However, after talks failed, the protesters refused to disperse, leading to their arrest.
