Kosala Nuwan Jayaweera, Member of Parliament for the Kegalle District representing the National People’s Power (NPP), has passed away.

It is reported that Comrade Kosala died after being admitted to hospital following a sudden heart attack this evening (6 April). He was 38 years old at the time of his death.
