UPDATE: Dan Priyasad Still Alive and Receiving Treatment in ICU – Police Clarify

Police now confirm that controversial figure Dan Priyasad is not dead, contrary to earlier reports. He is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the National Hospital in Colombo.

Earlier today, police issued a statement claiming that Priyasad had died following a shooting incident at the Laksanda Sewana housing complex in Wellampitiya.

However, in a subsequent media release, police corrected the earlier report and stated that Priyasad is still alive and under medical care. However, the Police said his condition is crtical.
