Viral Assault Incident: Police Arrest Two in Kiribathgoda

Kiribathgoda Police have taken two individuals into custody following an assault incident that gained widespread attention on social media.

According to police reports, the altercation stemmed from a dispute involving a woman. It was confirmed that the victim, along with the two suspects, all reside in Kiribathgoda.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim, the owner of a private establishment, had been travelling with a female employee when they were confronted by her boyfriend and an accomplice. The pair allegedly intercepted the vehicle and physically attacked the businessman.
