SJB Candidate Among Three Injured in Alleged Stabbing by Monk

A candidate of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and two others were injured in a stabbing incident that occurred in the Dik Ella Kanda division of the Dereniyagala Pradeshiya Sabha area.

All three victims were admitted to the Dereniyagala Hospital for treatment. The stabbing was allegedly carried out by a monk, according to initial reports.

Police investigations are underway.
