Kotahena Schoolgirls’ Suicide: Accused Teacher Sent on Compulsory Leave

The teacher accused of sexually abusing a girl at Ramanathan Girls’ College in Colombo has been sent on compulsory leave. Earlier, the Education Ministry had transferred him to Zahira College, Puttalam.

The child died by suicide on 29 April. The court case against the accused teacher is scheduled to be called on 19 May.
