Charith N. Silva, the creator behind Sri Lanka’s most popular YouTube channel Wild Cookbook, has earned a prestigious spot on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list under the Art category, shining a global spotlight on Sri Lankan creativity and resilience.

Known for his captivating videos showcasing traditional and modern dishes prepared in breathtaking outdoor locations, Silva launched Wild Cookbook in 2020 amid the challenges of the pandemic. What began as a humble passion project has grown into a cultural phenomenon—amassing over 10 million YouTube subscribers and 2.3 million Instagram followers.

His journey is a powerful reminder of how authenticity, innovation, and a deep connection to nature can capture hearts around the world. With more than 600 videos under his belt, Silva has become not just a digital creator, but a storyteller of Sri Lankan culinary heritage.

In November 2024, he expanded his brand beyond the screen, opening a rustic-themed restaurant in Colombo named Wildish, bringing the wild cooking experience into an urban setting.
