The Judicial Service Commission has sealed the official chambers of Kaduwela Magistrate Chanima Wijebandara, following several complaints lodged against her, Kaduwela Police confirmed.

As part of the ongoing investigation, the former magistrate has been granted permission to visit the court on Monday (19) to retrieve her personal belongings from the sealed chambers. Police security has been arranged for the premises until that time.

The sealing of the chambers is a direct result of inquiries initiated by the Judicial Service Commission.
