Thusitha Halloluwa Shooting: Motorcyclist Arrested

Three more suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting incident targeting former National Lotteries Board Executive Director Thusitha Halloluwa, police confirmed.

The arrests were made yesterday (27 May) by the Colombo Range Crime Division in the areas of Wattala and Kirulapone. The suspects — aged 31, 32, and 40 — are residents of Wattala and Colombo 14. Four mobile phones were also seized during the arrests.

The trio is expected to be produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today (28 May).

Investigations are being carried out by the Narahenpita Police in collaboration with the Colombo Range Crime Division.

Earlier, three other individuals — including a woman — were taken into custody in relation to the same incident. They were remanded until 29 May after appearing before the Hulftsdorp Magistrate’s Court.
