Helmet Attack: Man Killed in Bulathsinhala After Heated Argument

A man has died following a violent altercation in the Bulathsinhala, Halwathura, and Epittawatta area after a dispute between two individuals escalated, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Saman Palitha Manage, a 50-year-old father of four from Halwathura in Bulathsinhala.

According to police, the suspect involved in the assault is a 23-year-old man who is married to the daughter of the victim’s relative. During the argument, the suspect allegedly struck the victim with a helmet, resulting in fatal injuries.

The suspect has been taken into custody by the Bulathsinhala Police, and further investigations are underway.
