Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (9) granted bail to Hemali Anithra Wijeratne, daughter of Dr Maheshi Wijeratne, consultant neurosurgeon at Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital.

Hemali Wijeratne had been remanded on allegations of issuing death threats to two officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), on 4 July.
