Organized by the Sri Lanka Gems and Jewelery Association (SLGJA) – National Gems and Jewelery Authority (NGJA), the 31st FACETS Gems and Jewelery Show will open between 4th and 6th January 2025 at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.

Kicking off the new year, FACETS 2025 has become one of the industry’s most anticipated events, bringing together leading gem and jewelery dealers, manufacturers, lapidaries and collectors from around the world. Over the years, FACETS has been a vibrant celebration of Sri Lanka’s long history and reputation as a premier source country, home to over 75 colorful gems. Highlighting local jewelers and vendors, the exhibition aims to showcase Sri Lankan craftsmanship with its unique blend of rich traditions and innovative sophistication.

FACETS Sri Lanka 2025 will host entrepreneurs in industry hotspots such as Ratnapura, Alahara, Beruwala, Aheliyagoda, Galle, Palmadulla, Kahawatta and Colombo, who are keen to showcase the amazing gems and jewelery the country has to offer. Acting as a platform for industry leaders to collaborate and connect with professionals worldwide, FACETS hopes to contribute to leading the industry towards its goal of achieving $1 billion in exports.

The event will highlight the brilliance of Sri Lankan sapphire and colored gemstones and act as a window to Sri Lanka’s diverse culture and shared heritage. FACETS 2025 will be an opportunity to cement Sri Lanka’s position as a truly global gem and jewelery hub as well as stimulate innovation and international collaboration across the gem and tourism industries.

This year’s event is set to offer visitors unparalleled opportunities for networking and collaboration. Key events at FACETS Sri Lanka 2025 include the elegant Sapphire Night, a celebration of Ceylon Sapphire, and the Women’s Power Breakfast, dedicated to encouraging and celebrating women leaders in the field. Other unique experiences on offer include a mine tour, an insight into the market process for local mining and a tour of the port city of Colombo. Exclusive events like the VIP Golf Tournament add prestige to the event. Meanwhile, the Story Corner, following on from last year’s Sustainability Pavilion, will offer a more in-depth journey into the responsible practices of trade and the communities that shape the industry.

As FACETS Sri Lanka enters its 31st year, the upcoming exhibition is sure to be an immersive and insightful experience for its visitors. The most anticipated event in the Sri Lankan industry, the exhibition is sure to gather visitors from all over the world to celebrate and honor the beauty, diversity and unparalleled quality of Sri Lanka’s treasures.
