Police have reported that the SJB Gorup Leader of the Yatinuwara Pradeshiya Sabha, his wife, and their daughter were found deceased inside their residence in the Yahalatenna area.

According to police, the bodies of the 52-year-old man, his 44-year-old wife, and their 17-year-old daughter were discovered within their home earlier today.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the Opposition Leader may have taken his own life, while the bodies of his wife and daughter were found in separate rooms of the house.
