CID Probes Gammanpila Over Alleged Racial Discord Remarks

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) informed the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today (27) that an investigation has been initiated against former MP Udaya Gammanpila.

The probe relates to statements he is alleged to have made through both electronic and print media, which the CID said were capable of creating discord among different communities.
