At a time when rising discord and conflict dominate much of the world, the hope for a golden era of shared peace and prosperity is fading for many. Against this backdrop, a Global Peace Prayer Festival is set to take place in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan.

The event will bring together spiritual leaders representing Theravāda, Mahāyāna, and Vajrayāna traditions of Buddhism. Renowned Lamas from across the world are also expected to participate, uniting their voices in prayers dedicated to the wellbeing of humanity.

Organisers describe the gathering as a rare opportunity to join in collective prayers for global peace and harmony, offering a spiritual counterpoint to the rising tide of division and violence.

Those wishing to participate in the festival can register online at www.globalpeaceprayers.org.
