ASP Rohan Olugala has been assigned to the Special Task Force (STF) to lead a newly established unit covering the entire country, tasked with seizing illegal narcotics and preventing organized crime. He has been appointed as the head of this unit.

This is in addition to his current role of the Head of Western Province North Range Crime Division.
