During the recent unrest and protests in Nepal, which resulted in multiple casualties and significant property damage, a luxury hotel became the scene of a terrifying attack by protestors. The protestors stormed the hotel, attacking people and causing widespread destruction. Guests fled in panic, unsure of how to protect themselves.

Senthil Thondaman, leader of the Sri Lanka Workers’ Congress, was staying at the hotel at the time. Thondaman managed to protect many lives by disguising himself to blend in with the protestors, engaged with them, and successfully forced them to leave the premises.

He then rescued and evacuated all those hiding in the hotel rooms, ensuring their safety.

Those affected have expressed their gratitude and admiration for Thondaman’s act on social media, particularly on X. Indian media outlets have also published reports praising his actions.

Following the dangerous incident, Senthil Thondaman has safely returned to Sri Lanka.
