Police are investigating a stockpile of over 10 kilograms of drugs, suspected to be ‘ice’, discovered in a house in Seenimodara, Tangalle earlier today.

Three bodies were also found inside the house. Two were already dead when recovered, while one succumbed after being admitted to the hospital. Preliminary investigations suggest the deaths may have been caused by poisoning.

In a separate operation in the Tangalle area, authorities seized around 200 kilograms of drugs, including ‘ice’ and heroin, from a lorry.
