Jaffna District MP Ramanathan Archchuna today (25) raised a point of order in Parliament, urging that the public washrooms in the parliamentary complex be kept open at night.

“The police say the public washrooms are closed after 4.30 p.m. because parts are being stolen. After that, there’s nowhere for people to go. So please keep the public washrooms open at night — and tell them not to lock the washrooms,” Archchuna said.
