Indian entrepreneurs express interest in expanding investment opportunities in Sri Lanka
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who is currently on a three-day official visit to India, yesterday (16) joined a discussion with India’s leading business representatives in New Delhi.

Organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the forum brought together some of India’s leading entrepreneurs. President Dissanayake drew attention to Sri Lanka’s investor-friendly environment and invited Indian entrepreneurs to explore investment opportunities in the country.

The discussion focused on key areas such as digital economy, tourism industry, renewable energy and information technology.


Indian business leaders expressed their willingness to invest in Sri Lanka, and the Sri Lankan government pledged to provide necessary investment facilities.
