Founder of the Pathfinder Foundation, Milinda Moragoda, met with Matthew Duckworth, the Australian High Commissioner-designate to Sri Lanka, during a courtesy call recently. He was accompanied by Lalita Kapur, Acting High Commissioner of Australia in Sri Lanka, while Bernard Goonetilleke, Chairman of the Pathfinder Foundation, also participated in the meeting.
During the discussion, Moragoda outlined the wide range of initiatives undertaken by the Pathfinder Foundation in areas such as policy research, regional cooperation, and strategic dialogue. He expressed his hope that the Australian High Commission would continue to engage closely with the Foundation in the future.
High Commissioner-designate Duckworth, an experienced career diplomat, has previously served in Indonesia and Cambodia.
