Ampitiye Sumanarathana Thera has been arrested by Batticaloa Police for allegedly obstructing officials of the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau from carrying out their duties at its Batticaloa office.
The Thera is due to be produced before the Batticaloa Magistrate’s Court.
