Police have discovered another stock of chemicals suspected to be used in the manufacture of crystal methamphetamine (‘ICE’) at a residence in Kandana.

According to police, the chemicals are similar to those recovered on 6 September during a raid in Thalawa, Middeniya, which were also believed to be linked to ‘ICE’ production. Investigators suspect the chemicals were brought to the Kandana residence and left there around four months ago. The seized materials will be transported to Tangalle Police for further investigations.
