Asian Paints Causeway has launched its new luxury interior emulsion, Royale INFINITY, in Sri Lanka, introducing a range developed with nano technology and targeted at the premium consumer segment.

The product was unveiled at an event held at Heritance Negombo, attended by dealers and corporate representatives.

According to the company, Royale INFINITY was developed following local consumer research and is designed to provide an exceptionally smooth wall finish. The company claims the finish is five times smoother to the touch than products previously available in the local market.

Speaking at the launch, Asian Paints International Regional Head – South Asia and South Pacific Islands Budhaditya Mukherjee said the introduction marked a new phase for premium decorative paints in Sri Lanka.

“This launch marks a new era for premium decorative paints in Sri Lanka. The elite consumer segment here demands absolute perfection, and with Royale INFINITY, we are combining cutting-edge nano technology with global standards to deliver an unparalleled experience,” he said.

Asian Paints Causeway Country Head Vaithilingam Kiritharan said the company aimed to continue introducing new technologies and products to the Sri Lankan market.

“Royale INFINITY isn’t just another paint; it’s a meticulously engineered lifestyle solution. By offering a product that achieves a five-times smoother finish alongside world-class health and environmental certifications, we are proudly setting a new benchmark for luxury and sustainability in the local coatings industry,” he said.

Royale INFINITY is available in more than 3,000 shades and two variants — Luxe Pearl Finish and Soft Matt Finish. The company said the product is resistant to smudges, scuffs and stains, while its crack-bridging film can conceal hairline cracks of up to 1.07 mm in width.

According to Asian Paints Causeway, the product has also received performance certifications from Wimpey Laboratories LLC and offers 99.9% antibacterial protection against common bacteria. It is certified for zero mould and mildew growth, has low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and is APEO-free.

The product is backed by a seven-year performance warranty.

Asian Paints Causeway operates in Sri Lanka’s coatings sector across decorative paints, wood coatings, automotive refinishes and industrial finishes.
