BNI Sri Lanka will host its National Conference 2026 on July 24 at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, bringing together members from across Sri Lanka and the global BNI network for a day focused on business networking, leadership and entrepreneurship.
Held annually as BNI Sri Lanka’s flagship event, the conference aims to promote collaboration, knowledge sharing and business growth through BNI’s “Givers Gain®” philosophy.
This year’s conference will feature two keynote speakers: Sri Lankan entrepreneur Otara Gunewardene, Founder of Odel and Embark, and Rajendran Dandapani, Director of Zoho Corporation and President of Zoho Schools of Learning in India.
Gunewardene is expected to share insights from building one of Sri Lanka’s best-known retail brands, highlighting innovation, sustainability and purpose-driven leadership. Dandapani will speak on entrepreneurship, leadership, talent development and Zoho’s people-first business model.
BNI Sri Lanka said the conference would provide members with opportunities to exchange ideas, strengthen professional relationships and gain insights from internationally recognised business leaders.
Commenting on the event, BNI Sri Lanka National Director Hemu Suvarna said the conference brings together members from across the country and the global BNI network to “learn, connect and grow.”
“The keynote speakers represent excellence in entrepreneurship and innovation, and we are delighted to provide our members with the opportunity to learn from two outstanding business leaders whose experiences offer valuable lessons for businesses of every size,” Suvarna said.
BNI Sri Lanka said the conference is expected to attract hundreds of members and will reinforce the organisation’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and sustainable business growth by connecting local businesses with global expertise and networks.
