The Court of Appeal today (23) dismissed without proceeding to a hearing a writ petition seeking an order to postpone the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination, scheduled to be held in August, by two months.

The Court delivered its decision after extensively considering the submissions made in relation to the petition.

The petition had been filed by a group of students who are due to sit this year’s G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination as first- and second-time candidates.

The petitioners had sought a writ order directing the relevant authorities to postpone the examination by two months
