Court Rejects Preliminary Objections in Corruption Case Against Shasheendra Rajapaksa

The Colombo High Court has rejected preliminary objections raised by the defendants seeking the dismissal of a case filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) against former State Minister Shasheendra Rajapaksa and two others over corruption allegations.

Accordingly, Colombo High Court Judge Ravindra Premaratne has reportedly ordered that the case proceed under the existing indictments.
