Sri Lankan model Elina Gunawardena, professionally known as Elina G, became the first Sri Lankan model to walk the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, held in Los Angeles on October 18.
She joined an international lineup that included Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Irina Shayk and Ashley Graham.
The event also featured live performances by Tate McRae, Megan Thee Stallion, Megan Moroney and girl group KATSEYE.
Gunawardena’s appearance marked a milestone for Sri Lanka’s modelling industry, highlighting the country’s talent on an international fashion platform.
