Indian Actor Sai Pallavi has found herself at the centre of social media debate after photos from a recent beach vacation with her sister, actor Pooja Kannan, went viral.

One particular picture showing Sai Pallavi in a swimsuit sparked criticism from a section of social media users, who trolled the actor for what they claimed was a departure from her usually modest and simple public image.
However, many fans rushed to her defence, questioning why a swimsuit — a common outfit for the beach — should be seen as controversial. Supporters praised her for enjoying a carefree moment and called out the trolling as unnecessary moral policing.
