Inmates Harak Kata and Kehelbaddara Padme Clash Inside Prison

A clash broke out inside the prison yesterday (22.09.2026) between Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne, alias ‘Harak Kata’, and Mandinu Padmasiri Perera, alias ‘Kehelbaddara Padme’.

According to the Department of Prisons, ‘Kehelbaddara Padme’ sustained minor injuries in the incident and has been hospitalised.

Further investigations into the matter have been launched by the Department of Prisons.
