The Police today (31) released CCTV footage of the person who is believed to be responsible for murdering the woman whose body found inside a travelling bag on Wednesday(29) morning. the body was found at Anuradhapura queue of the Bastian Mawatha Private Bus Terminal, Pettah.

The victim was identified as Rangan Karthika who was from Vaddukkoddai, Jaffna. She was 34 years old, the police said.

According to the police it is now revealed that she had stayed with a person at a restaurant at Pettah. 

The suspect is yet to identify.
