A cat with two packets of heroin weighing 1g and 2 mg, two SIM cards and a memory chip, tied around its neck, has been captured at the Welikada Magazine prison’s entrance gate by the Prison officers on Saturday(1).
A spokesman for the Prison Department confirmed that someone had attempted to send these contraband tied around the cat’s neck into the prison. The heroin packets had been handed over to the Borella Police.
