Heath Services Director General Dr. Anil Jasinghe has been appointed the Secretary to the Ministry of Environment.

Jasnghe played a key role in the national mission against the COVID19 outbreak in the country.

Meanwhile, former Navy Commander Admiral Jayanath Colombage has been appointed the Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dr. Priyath Bandu Wickrema has been appointed the Secretary to the Ministryof Water Supplies.

Prof. Kapila Perera is the new Secretary to the Ministry of Education.
