A Police Constable who operated a controversial Facebook page with sexual content was arrested today.

The 27-year-old suspect was arrested by the Police Cyiber Crimes Investigations Unit.

The suspect has joined the Police service a year ago and was attached to the Gampaha HQ Police.

The content of the Facebook page sparked a strong public outcry in society in the recent past.
