A massive fraud to forge the colour of Laughs LP gas cylinders with blue to appear them as Litro gas was busted and a gas distributor arrested by Uhana police today.

Police had carried out the raid on a search warrant issued by court.

During the raid the police had seized 176 Laugfs gas cylinders, in several of which, the yellow colour had been scraped and repainted blue.

Police said suspect and the counterfeit gas cylinders would be produced in Ampara magistrate’s court.
