An emloyee at the Sri Lankan High Commission in South Africa has committed suicide, the Foreign Ministry confirmed.

The deceased is a 35-year-old person from Kilinochchi.

The Foreign Ministry is in the process of taking measures to bring his body back to Sri Lanka, a ministry spokesman said.
