State Minister Sanath Nishantha said Minister Wimal Weerawansa is a hypocrite seeking to oust the Rajapaksas from the political sphere.

In a scathing attack on Weerawansa, the State Minister posted a picture on Facebook saying he they celebrated Weerawansa’s birthday when the latter was in prison.

Nishantha said two people who are featured prominently in the picture - Johnston Fernando and himself - have now come fire from Weerawansa.

The only “crime” we committed was to support Mahinda Rajapaksa, Nishantha added.
