Kottawa fish market closed as four persons diagnosed with COVID19

A fish market in Kottawa has been temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

Kottawa Public Health Inspector DM Jayasinghe said that the action was taken as four persons at the fish market have been diagnosed with the virus.

The four patients have been admitted to the Kalutara Pimbura Hospital for treatment.

He said that steps were being taken to identify those who had direct contact with the persons concerned and direct them to quarantine centres.
