US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has met President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, a short while ago.

Pompeo arrived in Sri Lanka last night and the visit took place just days before the Presidential election in the US. US Ambassador in Colombo Alaina B. Teplitz also took part in the discussion between the US Secretary of State and the Sri Lankan President.
