Head Coach Mickey Arthur Defends Sri Lankan Players Over Alleged Sex Scandal: Says Such Incidents "Impossible" In Bio-secure Bubble

Sri Lanka's head coach Mickey Arthur has defended Sri Lankan cricketers in the face of an alleged sex scandal ahead of the team's second Test match against England in Galle.

The controversy broke out following a newspaper report claiming that a young Sri Lankan cricketer shared his hotel room with a female cricket official during the first Test match against England.

The story went viral on social media drawing severe criticism from many circles. However, commenting on this controversy on Twitter, Arthur has said such an incident is impossible when players operate in a bio-secure bubble.

"Shame on you for believing this rubbish! Do you honestly believe this can happen in a biosecure bubble......scandalous reporting!!" Arthur said responding to the newspaper report.

The scandal has taken place at a crucial time as Sri Lanka is struggling to level the Test series with England at the second Test match in Galle.
