Letter Written By Buttala SI To Wife Found: Says 'He Didn't Mean To Kill Her'

A letter was found belived to be written by the Sub-Inspector of Police of the Buttala police station who had brought the body of a female headless body to Dam Street in Colombo.

In the letter, the SI, who took his own life by hanging, had apologised to his wife, and said that he had not meant to kill the woman.

The young female victim of about 30 years old chacked in with the SI to a guest house in Hanwella just days before he brought her body to Damn Street stuffed in a suitcase.

The decapitated head has not yet been found.
