Fresh Suspicions Arise On Easter Sunday Attacks Suspect Pulasthini's Secret Presence In Sri Lanka Under Different Identity

Fresh suspicions have arisen whether Pulasthini Rajendran alias Sara, a key suspect in the Easter Sunday attacks, is hiding in Sri Lanka under a different name.

Rajendran is the wife of the terririst who exploded himself at the Katuwapitiya church. Her wherabouts are unknown since the Easter Sunday attacks.

In the wake of the Easter Sunday attacks, several key figures in the defence establishment said the suspect may have fled to India to avoid arrest. Defence authorities believe she had had access to some crucial information on the circumstances leading to the Easter Sunday attacks.

Meanwhile, recent reports said the authorities were trying to establish whether the wife of the bomber was among the dead.

However, top government sources said the authorities had not ruled out the possibility of Rajendan hiding in Sri Lanka with a different identity.
