[VIDEO] University Of Kelaniya Develops Specialised Helmet To Provide Protection Against COVID19

A research team from the University of Kelaniya has developed an easy-to-use helmet that can provide protection against COVID19.

The university says the helmet is easy to use and eco-friendly, and can be used to replace face masks and eye masks.

It is co-produced by Dr. Rangika Bandara, Senior Lecturer, Department of Zoology and Environmental Management, University of Kelaniya, and Akila Lansakara.

Dr. Rangika Bandara said that the helmet was manufactured as an alternative to the severe environmental crisis caused by the improper disposal of masks and masks used to protect against the virus.

The back of the helmet is made of recycled plastic, recyclable plastic and fiberglass, and the front is made transparent.

The helmet head is fitted with a small battery-powered fan to remove air from the inside, and its button-operated battery has a lifespan of 8 hours. The batteries can be recharged if needed and the batteries can be replaced.
