Secretary To President Instructs All Ministry Secretaries To Follow "Recommended Process" When Making Requests To Change Heads Of State Institutions

Secretary to the President Dr. P.B. Jayasundara has instructed all ministry secretaries not to make written requests to the President to change the heads of state institutions coming under their purview without giving "justifiable reasons".

Jayasundara, in a letter to all ministry secretaries, has stated that such requests could affect the pace of activities carried out by state institutions.

The Secretary to the President has instructed all ministry secretaries to inform their respective cabinet ministers to adhere to the "recommended process" when it comes to changing heads of state institutions.
